to restore life or consciousness and/or to give new strength or energy to.
The SHE-RA (SHE Revival Academy) is a movement.
A movement of women ready to strengthen and breathe life into reviving their connection to themselves, to the elements, to the seasons, and to their deepest Soulful.Holistic.Embodied selves.
SHE-RA is an unlearning, a remembering, a knitting back into the rhythmic weave of Nature, and a reclamation of living in alignment with what really matters.
In this SOUL-rority of conscious women we are embodying a sacred, real way of returning to the healing power of ancient feminine wisdom within our modern lives, and to what each woman knows in her heart to be possible and true.
Are you ready to join SHE-RA?
YOU are welcome here. Just as you are. No high vibes only required.
There was a time when women were the gatekeepers, medicine weavers, ritual makers, and householders.
There was an ancient wisdom that revered women, women’s bodies, the moon, and the Earth.
Women gathered regularly in Moon Lodges, Temples, and Red Tents. We gathered in groves under Full or Dark Moons. We congregated in caves to do yoga or ritual together. The very act of gathering together to experience the sacred was an act of sacred rebellion.
Together, we were the heart of the village, of culture, of society. For centuries this wisdom was intricately woven into the fabric of Life:
We are not separate from Nature. Nor She from us.
We used to understand that when we build a rapport with Nature outside of us, it helps us better understand our own Nature within.
In fact, when I started timing my life in accordance to natural rhythms like the changing seasons and the phases of the moon it transformed everything. I learned that everything has its time and that there is a beautiful rhythm to the phases of creation.
This wisdom guides me, grounds me, and continually brings me back to my centre.
Nature shows us expressions of rest and surrender; growth and renewal; connection and pleasure; release and dismantling.
Nature teaches us that times of rest and reflection are just as important to living a full life as periods of growth and activity.
Nature shows us this each month with the Moon phases and each season as during the quarter and cross-quarter days.
While this knowledge has been forgotten, but it is not lost.
We are reclaiming these ancient traditions in modern times as we shape what is Sacred to each of us in our own unique ways. With Nature as our guide. Our sacred GPS.
SHE Revival is a deep knowing – in a very visceral way – that the inextricable interconnection of all things, that sacredness and humanness are instinctively fused.
The sole focus of SHE Revival is in reviving the connection to yourself, to nature, the elements, the seasons, and your deepest Soulful.Holistic.Embodied. self through being in the presence of other women walking along the same path.
“Kate’s women’s circles are such an awesome experience. They helped me feel like I was a part of something special. I feel alive and involved and whole.” ~ Anne Attias
The Taoist system states that there are two fundamental principles of nature: 1) a nourishing and calming principle called yin, and 2) an energizing and activating principle called yang.
It is the union of the two that makes us whole. It is also the union of our inner and external Selves that connects us with who we are.
Yin and yang are of the same essence but reflect different qualities. One cannot exist without the other (just like the Sun and Moon). Yin and yang only know themselves in relation with the other.
We need both yin and the Moon and Her phases along with yang and the Sun and Nature’s seasonal transitions otherwise we can feel disconnected, lost, or isolated from our own True Nature.
The SHE Revival gatherings are soulful and down-to-earth, inspiring and practical, where our authentic sisterhood offers wild support and sacred celebration.
With decades of experience participating in and facilitating women’s circles and guiding sacred feminine embodiment practices, the SHE Revival gatherings bring together ancient wisdom and Nature’s medicine. The Sacred with the Everyday. The world with the ethereal. The light with dark.
